About the Game

Historically, San Francisco Bay was a thriving estuary supporting thousands of plant and animal species. It was a Bay with hundreds of thousands of acres of wetlands ringing its shores, thick salmon runs through the Delta, dense oak forests, and high grasses.

But after the Gold Rush, the Bay wetlands began to disappear; more than a century of filling and diking, unchecked development and pollution destroyed 90 percent of the Bay's original wetlands.

Your job in Battle For The Bay is to fight back against these threats—decade by decade—starting in the 1960's, when Save The Bay was founded.

Correctly answer the trivia questions in each of the six levels to complete the game and be entered to win an iPad 2!
